I have been a licensed Realtor since 1982, having owned two Real Estate companies in CA. In 2000 my husband and I move to Kailua Kona full time, after buying property here in 1986. Our first home was built on that lot along Alii Drive. It took 18 years to overcome the challenges of owning a business, getting children through school then selling the business to make it to Kona full time. Once we were able to be here full time, I retired from Real Estate.. that did not last 6 months! We have a blended family of 3 adult siblings, and we have 5 grandchildren ranging from 12 to 17 years. My husband Jim Hazard, has been semi-retired since we moved here full time. He does assist with my business when necessary and has a Home Check business for Off-Island owners, peace of mind. When I am not working, my other passion is Outrigger Canoe Paddling and the Hawaiian Culture it teaches.
