Our family moved to the Burnt Store Isles neighborhood in lovely Punta Gorda in 1997. At the time I exchanged my Kentucky real estate license (1985-1997) for a Florida real estate license. Needlessly I don’t have to say Punta Gorda has gone through great changes since the family first arrived in 1997. The children have completed schooling in Charlotte County and Florida colleges. I have downsized from the family sized waterfront pool home to the gated community of Seminole Lakes. I have not given up boating however with the children grown and husband gone I have sold the horse boarding stable. My knowledge base is vast from kayak trails to equine trails, soccer leagues, drama troupes, depth of waters and where to buy the freshest fish or see the best sunsets!
