Born in Norway in 1967, immigrated legally to the U.S. in 1969, came to Colorado in 1974, and graduated from Aurora Colorado’s Smoky Hill High in 1985. Served as a paratrooper and tank crewman with the 82nd Airborne Division 1985-89, receiving an Honorable Discharge from active duty as a Sergeant (E-5). Younger brother, PFC Lars Chew, killed in Iraq in 1991. Earned a BA in Economics with a minor in History from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 1996 and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colorado at Denver’s Graduate School of Business in 1999. Earned a Real Estate Title Insurance license in 1991 and Real Estate Broker’s license in 2013. Inducted into RE/MAX Hall of Fame in 2019. Met wife in 2018, married in 2023, no children, no pets.
