After 20 years of service, I retired from the Coast Guard and began working full time as a real estate professional in Northern Virginia. I was quite literally raised on real estate. When I relocated to the US from my home country of Germany ten years ago due to my husband's military orders, I found myself driving through neighborhoods, assessing areas and homes. I realized that though I’d moved thousands of miles away, my passion for real estate had followed. In my free time I volunteer for TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) as a Peer Mentor helping other surviving spouses grieving the death of their military loved one. Our military community is near and dear to my heart. Often you can find me working at coffee shops or walking my silver lab Luna in Old Town Alexandria which is my favorite historic district along the Potomac.
