After graduating from Virginia Tech with a degree in Business Management Entrepreneurship, I was recruited to work as an assistant to a Top 1% agent. I quickly learned how to thrive in a fast-paced real estate office, managing contracts and preparing listings for the market. I grew to love the art of negotiation and the science of market analysis. The high volume was exciting and provided invaluable experience, but I found myself working upwards of 60 hours a week. I was recently engaged and had to postpone my wedding twice due to the pandemic. Craving a better work-life balance, and the opportunity to get back to my entrepreneurial roots, I decided to launch my own real estate business in 2020. Exceeding my clients' expectations is a passion of mine, particularly when it comes to communication, creative marketing, and market knowledge. Developing relationships with my clients that inspire them to refer me to family and friends is at the core of my business.

I have been a licensed Realtor since 2008 and helped clients buy and sell over $115,000,000 in real estate. I see my role as a consultant. I provide information and utilize my experience and expertise so that clients can make the best real estate decisions for themselves and their families.

As a native of Northern VA, I have lived in Fairfax County, Alexandria and Arlington. I have seen Loudoun expand from a rural area to a suburban paradise, so I am familiar with the neighborhoods and subdivisions throughout the area. After many years as an investor, I got my Real Estate License 20 years ago and have helped hundreds of clients buy and sell their homes. I am the direct contact for each client from initial meeting, through the buying or selling process and into Settlement. After Settlement, they rely on me as a resource for excellent contractors and other referrals. My background in Interior Design allows me to help sellers stage homes to achieve top dollar. I have resources to help 'Downsizers' to deal with a lifetime of possessions. The real estate transaction is a legal process involving a hundred or more pages of contract terms, which I have mastered in detail. I have many, many happy clients. I was quite literally raised on real estate. My enthusiasm for helping people find homes was developed by my parents who have successfully owned and operated a real estate business for more than 25 years. When I relocated to the US from my home country of Germany ten years ago due to my husband's military orders, I found myself driving through neighborhoods, assessing areas and homes. I realized that though I’d moved thousands of miles away, my passion for real estate had followed. In my free time I volunteer for TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) as a Peer Mentor helping other surviving spouses grieving the death of their military loved one. Our military community is near and dear to my heart. Often you can find me working at coffee shops or walking my silver lab Luna in Old Town Alexandria which is my favorite historic district along the Potomac.
