We were absolutely impressed with the level of self-sacrificial commitment Tim gave to us during our home search. We didn't have lots of money and struggled with financing for a time, but he worked with us and our lender to be in a position to buy over a 2 year period. We were surprised that he cared that much about us. The whole time he answered our questions and was always there to calm and reassure us. When closing day finally did come, the seller who was selling her own home and didn't have a realtor, decided at the closing table that she would not pay the closing costs she had previously agreed to pay on our behalf. This was the only way we could afford the house. Tim gave us his commission check and paid the closing costs. He didn't make anything on the sale.
