I was raised in Nova Scotia and following graduation moved to Victoria BC where I resided for 10 years. Upon returning home I married my long time friend Dana, we are proud parents to two sons, and now our granddaughter Sadie James is the apple of our eye! Having always had a passion for real estate I acquired my licence in 2002. I quickly watched my clientele list grow while gaining vast experience in selling properties, including new construction projects consisting of single family homes/town homes; along with the expansive King's Wharf condo development in Dartmouth. I particularly enjoy working with first time buyers and experiencing their apprehension, enthusiasm and anticipation of becoming new home owners. I equally enjoy working with seasoned buyers/sellers and investors wanting to begin or add to their investment portfolio. Having grown up in the Halifaxs West End, this city holds a special place in my heart. Compared to other parts of Canada, Halifax, Nova Scotia, is a livable city with a low cost of living, short commutes, great public schools and safe communities. I love being able to share my favorite restaurants, local shops, beaches, and tourist attractions with people putting down roots in this beautiful city and province. I started in Real Estate in 2013, when the market was struggling both locally and nationally. During this time, I worked with one of Halifaxs top agents and learned that selling homes involves more than putting a sign on the lawn. The invaluable strategy I learned to list, sell, and market properties during a down market has given my listing clients a competitive advantage now that the market has rebounded. During this time, I also gained the experience necessary to successfully match my clients with their dream home.

Born and raised in Nova Scotia, I have lived here in Halifax area for the last 3 decades. Together with my life partner Fran we have raised our family that now includes 6 grand children in Woodlawn where we have enjoyed being involved in many community activities and events. Prior to joining the real estate profession I worked in Technical sales and management that provided me valuable training for my successful career in this dynamic home selling industry.
