After several years of marriage, we opened a "mom and pops" land development company. For 17 years Scott handled all aspects of subdivision planning, road construction, lot improvements, and sales. Cherie was responsible for marketing, finance, and contract to closing coordination. Due to the demand for new affordable housing in the area, we also began residential speculative building and handled all levels of construction from dirt to doorknobs.
