Originally from Columbus, Ohio, I have lived & worked in Hampton since 1988. I love our area & greatly enjoy sharing all of its benefits with new clients and military members moving to the Hampton Roads area. With a Degree in Sociology, I worked at the shelter for Battered Women for 5 years before I became a licensed REALTOR in 1994. I have since obtained designations that benefit my clients, my broker's license, owned a real estate franchise for 15 yrs, been President of our local Association of REALTORS and was named REALTOR of the Year for our Association. I am married to my husband, Ken, who is a graduate of the US Naval Academy and is a retired Commander. We have two adult sons. Matt, and his wife, Marilyn, along with our grandson, Ben, live locally. Our other son, Mike, is also a Naval Academy graduate. He is stationed in Corpus Christi, TX, with his wife, Kira. My passions are family, traveling, bird watching and hiking. Mike has lived on the Peninsula his entire life. Mike attended Clemson University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science and Management. While at Clemson, he met his wife Jill, and they chose Yorktown to live and raise their family. After college Mike worked for a local commercial and industrial construction company. Mike and his brother later purchased the company and Mike was the CEO and ran all of the field crews. In 2011 Mike and his family decided it was time for a professional change, and he began his real estate career. In 2016 Reames Realty Group moved into their current office in Yorktown. Being located in Yorktown has enabled many of their friends and clients the convenience to stop by and conduct business or visit. In 2018, Reames Realty became it's own brokerage.
