Craig Ooten was born and raised here in the
Upper Cumberland area. After graduating high
school, he enlisted in the Army where he served,
active, for 4 four years in Bamberg, Germany.
While serving, he completed a deployment in
Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon
returning home, he enrolled in Tennessee Tech
University and earned a degree in criminal
justice in 2008. After graduating college, he and
his wife lived in Southwest Florida for eight
years. Once they decided to start a family, they
moved back to Cookeville TN due to the
communitys value.
