Kelly Dawson

As the daughter of a career Army officer, I know about picking up and moving your family. Growing up I lived in five different states, and two different cities in Germany. As an adult this theme continued as my husband served in the Navy. We moved across the country to Washington state. I was beginning my teaching career and starting a new adventure with my husband. We had to lean on each other because we didn't know anyone else in our new area. After 10 years in the Seattle area, my husband, children and I moved back to SC. We chose Columbia, SC because of the great school districts and the mix of city and outdoor entertainments. After 23 years of teaching Kelly moved into the area of real estate. Leaving the classroom was hard, but helping others to find the perfect home in which to put down their roots has been incredibly rewarding. I think about the wonderful memories we continue to create with our family and friends and want to help others do the same.
