As a first-time home buyer, navigating the housing market can feel more complicated than understanding cryptocurrency. Thankfully, Karim Ali was the best sherpa anyone can ask for. He answered more questions than Google, had a customer service that paralleled Amazon's, and was more organized than my mother's pantry. When the search got tough, he doubled as a therapist; and when we found my dream condo, he was prepared to negotiate harder than a UN security council resolution. Prompt, professional, and client-focused, he went above and beyond, even ensuring my move-in went smoother than playing on wet monkey bars with KFC fingers. Gratitude isn't a strong enough word. If you're even thinking about getting on the market in Ottawa, you definitely need to connect with Karim and Nick's team. The only regret you'll have is not coming to them sooner!

With my new workplace being in Ottawa, I needed to find a place of my own for the first time. I was setting up and going to showings on my own when I ran into Karim during one of the visits. I was quickly impressed by his knowledge, professionalism and above all else, the willingness to put the client's interests first. I then decided to have Karim represent my interests throughout. Due to other commitments, I could not be present in Ottawa the entire time but it was not an issue as Karim set up virtual showings via other means such as Zoom. The best communication method for us was through e-mails and Karim always promptly responded. Even after closing, Nick's team went on to show their own appreciation of a good client-agent working relationship. I will definitely employ Karim when it is time for me to sell.

We ended up working with Karim and we couldn't have asked for a better realtor. Since it was our first time buying, we needed guidance, and Karim was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating with our many questions and concerns. He was SO responsive and flexible throughout the whole process - I've never worked with a professional that was able to get things done as quickly as Karim. He stuck with us and kept our spirits up even after we had an unlucky turn of events in our search. Most of all we enjoyed working with Karim because he's just a funny, kind, and great dude! After many viewings, much excitement, and a little bit of stress, we're now settled in our new home thanks to Karim, Nick, and their team. Would definitely recommend these guys to anyone, and Karim will be the first name out of our mouths for future referrals to friends and family!

Nick and Karim are an amazing team. They went beyond what was expected of them; helping after hours and answering the dozens and dozens of emails and questions we had. They were an immense wealth of information on the market and with general advice. This was particularly helpful and important for my family given that we had just arrived back in Canada after 18 years living abroad; it has not been an easy move back in general, but Nick and Karim made the process of buying a house as smooth as one could ask for given our circumstances!
