My husband and I could not have had a better Real Estate Agent as Derrick Hammett. We have bought and sold 4 homes in the past but have never been so impressed and satisfied as we were with Derrick as our agent. Derrick proved to be very knowledgeable on the latest state of the real estate market and especially the town of Aurora. He consistently advised us appropriately on the best time to list, the listing price and any appropriate changes to list price, based on the fluctuating market. Derrick is a very friendly calm person but also extremely professional. Her treats his clients as he would want to be treated himself. Derrick made sure to be present for most showings and consistently provided us feedback he received from the potential buyers.

Derrick is exactly the type of agent you want. He knows what's going on and does his homework. He gave smart advice regarding touchups that would add the most value for our sale, and which items to just leave as-is. Most important was his ability to separate the offers into 'just fishing around' vs real offers, and handle the buyers' agents such that we only had to seriously consider a limited number of good quality offers.
