About
My real estate journey began in March 1971 as a licensed agent. In March 1976, my late husband, Stacy Woodford, Sr., and I purchased our first building, taking on $40,000 in debt. In April, I passed my broker's exam on my first attempt as failure was not an option. In May, we opened Woodford Contemporary Real Estate with 10 agents. Stacy was the visionary behind our business. Our oldest son, Carl, interned in high school, earned his license after graduation, and has played a major role for over 40 years. In 1992, we relocated to 4270 E. Main Street in Whitehall. Early in my career, I was told only 10 of 100 new agents would remain after one year. I vowed to be one of those 10! Looking back, my heart is filled with gratitude for my family, our agents, and the many wonderful clients who have trusted us over the years. It has never been just about selling homes; it has been about building relationships, touching lives, and helping families achieve the American Dream. I am truly blessed!
