As a resident of the Moss Bluff community for over 20 years, she is very familiar with Lake Charles and its surrounding areas. Her career began as a marketing support representative with Lanier Worldwide. She decided to switch gears and pursue her childhood dream of becoming an elementary school teacher. After 26 years at Gillis Elementary, Marla once again found herself ready for a career change.
