Sylvia did such a great job selling our home, she was always there to make sure the house would show well and if problems came up she always took care of them. I don't think we could have found anyone better to sell our house We would recommend her to anyone who wants a cool lady, competent and always helpful.

It's scary getting an agent to help buy a home, because the financial interest of the buyer's agent is not aligned with the financial interest of the buyer. The agent makes the most money (at least in the short term) by persuading people to buy whatever is available at whatever price is asked. In a context that invites abuse, Sylvia Bartel was a godsend. She asked all the right questions and advocated for our interests instead of her own. I felt secure in her advice and empowered by her shrewd judgement. Moreover, Sylvia knew everything that needed to be done and stayed on top of communication with us and all the other parties. Competence combined with trustworthiness: it doesn't get any better than that!

Sylvia helped my mom sell her home, she gave suggestions on how to prepare for the house to get listed, what the highest priority items were and who to talk to. Once it was listed it was only on the market for a few days! Sylvia was Great! I highly recommend her. I know next time I need help buying or selling a home she'll be the first person I call.
