About
Megan Thornton was born in Hays, KS, but has lived in Manhattan, KS most of her life. She attended Manhattan High School, followed by Kansas State University.
After college, Megan taught Special Education at Fort Riley for five years. This opportunity gave her direct experience and insight into military life and the community within Fort Riley and Junction City.
Megan’s husband, Tyler, builds residential homes with the family-owned business, Thornton Construction. Throughout her career & personal experiences, Megan has extensive experience working with families, builders, vendors, and developers. She looks forward to working with clients & helping them find or build their dream home!
Outside of working for her clients, Megan is raising two young boys on their farm in Wamego, KS. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, playing cards, and visiting National Parks. As a family, they enjoy everything outdoors, family traditions, & taking care of their animals.
