Richard Raap

Richard Raap was born and raised on the NW side of Chicago, and has been selling real estate in the community "full-time" for 37 years. Graduate of Lane Tech High School & Southern Illinois University (Carbondale). Married to Susan McCarthy, originally living with their two children in Jefferson Park before relocating to Park Ridge for the next 28 years. He completed advanced real estate classes and State testing for his Brokers license in 1990. Additional designations earned: GRI (Graduate of Realtors Institute) -1994; CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) -1996; SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) -2003. Member of the "RE/MAX Hall of Fame", has been recognized as a "Top 40 Agent" by the Chicago Association of Realtors, and recently served on the Chicago Association of Realtors "Contracts & Forms" committee.
