I am a Cherokee County native, born and raised. Growing up, Riverstone was just a big wooded hill. Walmart was a forest of trees. Hwy 20 towards Cumming was a simple 2 lane road. The new courthouse was not even built. Ive seen this county grow to new heights over the last 40 years. Some good, some sad. That said, I know this county literally like the back of my hand.
