In 2009 he was recognized as Instructor of the Year by SCAOR, and received the SCAOR Presidents Award in 2005 and 2011, as well as the Delaware Association of Realtors Excellence Award in 2013, and the Peninsula Commercial Alliances Bill Vernon Innovator of the Year Award in 2014. In 2017 he served as President of the 4,000+ member Delaware Association of Realtors and was the states REALTOR OF THE YEAR in 2018. He has served as a Director on the National Association of Realtors Board of Directors, and served a three year term on the NAR Professional Standard Committee.

I have been a Licensed REALTOR in Sussex County, Delaware since 2007. Prior to real estate sales and services being my primary focus, I worked over 20 Years as a PGA Professional in the Hunt Valley, Maryland and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware areas. I feel my years in the Golf Business engrained many customer service skills and habits that I have utilized to my advantage in the real estate business.

Truth be told, it was my wife’s idea for me to get licensed. We had an early vision of renovating properties and decided to dive head first into the industry with sales instead. Now, about 10 years later, it was the best decision we could have made. We live just outside the beach full-time but spend the majority of our time between Ocean City, Fenwick Island, Berlin and Bishopville. It’s a great place to live—and work! I’ve had the pleasure of building classes at NR and a successful sales team, and I’ve also led crazies jumping in the ocean in December to raise money for Toys for Tots. Having sold hundreds of homes and over $100m in real estate, I’ve been involved in some fun transactions. One day I might just write a book of my most memorable stories.
