Roy is the proud father of nine children and nine grandchildren, all born and raised in Alaska. His adult children now call Alaska, Colorado, and Arizona home, though Alaska remains the heart and home base of the Briley family. Roys professional journey began humbly in 1975 as a night janitor at Sunrise Bakery (now Wonder Hostess Bakery). Over the next 11 years, he steadily rose through the ranks and, at the age of 30, became the General Manager of statewide operations in 1986. Today, Roy continues to own and operate several successful businesses, including Real Estate Brokers of Alaska, Mortgage Brokers of Alaska, RB Association Management, RB Rental Management, and Roy Briley General Contracting. He has successfully sold more than 3,400 homes. Anchorage remains home for Roy and his family. Although he jokes that he will "never fully retire," he looks forward to spending more time enjoying warm-weather vacations during Alaska's winters while always remaining an Alaskan at heart.
