Real Estate is in my blood. Having spent my life exposed and surrounded by Real Estate or related industries, knowing Brokers, Agents, Land Developers, Investors, Builders, etc., it was only a matter of time before it became my career and craft. Although I have accomplished many things in my work career, as a LPN specializing in Pediatrics, Advertising Director, and Management, etc. I developed a strong background in construction, having the honor to work with Commercial, Industrial, Custom Home Builders, Land Developers, Interior Designers, etc. all related to the Real Estate industry. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to learn many skills, which have all contributed to making me a well rounded professional in so many ways. What has been most important to me is assisting people. As a Realtor, my job is to find people a home to call their own. I have been a licensed Realtor in Gainesville, Florida since 1979. I owned my own company for 12 years before joining Coldwell Banker almost 30 years ago. I have a BA in Spanish Literature from the University of Michigan and a MEd in Art from the University of Florida. I have taught Art History at Santa Fe College and was a practicing artist and photographer for 7 years before entering Real Estate. My husband, who is a physician, and I spent two years with the Peace Corps in Ecuador and lived in Chicago before making our move to Florida in the early 1970's. We have four grown children and 12 grandchildren. I am a past-President of our Public TV Station, WUFT-TV, and our Public Radio Station, WUFT-FM: a past-President of the Gainesville Fine Arts Association; the Alachua County Medical Alliance; the Gainesville Women's Forum and the Florida Museum of Natural History . I am a Docent at the Harn Museum of Art and a Board Member at our Performing Arts Center.

I have two grown daughters, Sheila and Denise, three grandsons, Josh, David and Zach and a loving husband, Sherwin. We have been married for more than fifty years. We like to go to car shows, and have helped with several charity car shows. We also do cat rescue. saved over a hundred cats and kittens, by having them neutered or spayed, all the shots, and finding theme good homes. I have had her real estate license since 1971 and my brokers license since 1990. I love helping Buyers, Sellers, Landlords and Tenants, with their real estate needs. I have been with RE/MAX Professionals, since 2001.
