Joe had a nomadic childhood until settling in rural Iowa at age 9. Born with an entrepreneurial spirit, he grew up on a farm, unafraid of hard work, delivering newspapers in his grandparents neighborhood. Participating in sports at a small school, Joe thrived in wrestling, football, and track. In 1993, Myrtle Beach captivated him, igniting a passion for the coastal lifestyle. Joe forged a successful hospitality career, while also honing his expertise in residential construction and custom home framing. In 2001, he met Diana, a Latvian native excelling in fine jewelry sales. In 2005, Joe secured his South Carolina real estate license and, with Diana, established the McRoberts Team at RE/MAX Southern Shores in 2021.
