My passion for the Outer Banks and the lifestyle it offers was sparked when I was a very young boy, traveling from Edenton, NC, to spend summer vacations with family at the Sea Foam Motel, one of the few mom and pops still left on the oceanfront today. I have been living and working on the Outer Banks since 1986. I have seen many changes occur, but what makes this area my favorite place to live still remains. There is no other place like it and raising a family here has been exactly what one would imagine. Everyday life may be similar to other places but we do get to enjoy more beach days than most. I am originally from Richmond, VA and spent many summers as a teen living at the beach in my families 2nd home starting in 1986. I moved to the Outer Banks in 2002 along with my wife and children. I have a degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, concentration in Real Estate & Urban Land Development, after which I worked in the property management field as ell as banking. I have been a full time Realtor on the Outer Banks since 2003. Over the last 16yrs I rank in the top 10% of all Realtors on the Outer Banks in number of total sales and total volume sold. I have seen the ebb and flow of the Outer Banks Real Estate market from top to bottom and now back up.
