About
I grew up in Germany and studied in England, Spain and France.
In the mid 1970’s, I moved to Florida and my husband wanted to buy a home right away. I was fascinated by the process, so I started to take classes towards my Realtor license. I passed the test and affiliated with Realtek in West Palm Beach.
At that time we still had big MLS books showing every home listed for sale in the area. In 1978, interest rates started to climb and in 1981 they were up to 16.5%. Not much real estate changed hands during those times. I was offered employment as a mortgage processor and I remained in mortgage and construction financing until 2010 when it seemed time for a change. Real Estate is the most interesting, diverse and flexible career for my personality. It is rewarding to see the smiles on buyer’s faces when they receive the keys to their new home, or the seller thanking me after they have received their money from the sale of their property. That is a great reward.
