I met Paul via an online real estate search about a year and a half prior to me planning to relocate to the Twin City area from Iowa upon becoming an empty nester. Paul was very knowledgeable about the area and I was very unsure of what exactly I was looking for. He was very accommodating and flexible to coordinate showings when I could be in the area since I lived out of state. E-mail correspondence was also very informative. He showed me many different housing options and eventually suggested new construction which is what I ended up purchasing. In 2001 he helped me buy my first home. I was so happy with his work that I contacted him in 2009 when my husband-to-be and I were looking for a home, and he helped us through that process. This year I needed to put my Dads condo up for sale. The condo wasnt even on the market for one full day before it sold! He knows what hes doing and can tell you pretty much spot-on what you should expect to receive from a sale or how much you will pay for a property. They are all professional and friendly, and they stay in contact with the other agent, the closers, and the title companies, to make sure everything runs smoothly. I referred an elderly client of mine to him, and he took on that sale knowing that he wasnt going to get much profit for his time. That referral says a lot, as it really wasnt a referral from meit was a referral from me as a representative of our firm. If there was a way for me to give them stars, they would get 5 out of 5! Paul graciously came and spent a couple hours with us talking about recent sales in the building, upgrades both couples had made in our units, the general real estate market, the real estate market for those of us at or near retirement age, etc. He did this with no promise of our proceeding to look for new housing. In fact, at the time, my wife and I were fairly certain we were not looking to move. About 2 or 3 months after first meeting Paul, we called him back and said that we wanted to look at one townhome unit in particular. Paul graciously showed that to us and helped us subsequently make an offer for it. We did not get the unit and that led to a more extensive search and subsequently purchasing a twin-home unit. Paul now has our original condo unit listed for sale. He has been responsive when we needed him, respectful of us and our time, and has willingly shared his knowledge and strategy. He has always made us feel that we are making the decisions.
