Thanks for doing the near impossible. Before speaking with Mark, I had dealt with several other lenders who told me 5% down jumbo mortgage did not exist. I thought I was definitely going to have to put at least 10% down.From the first email and phone call, Mark was extremely informative and detailed about the products he offered and qualification. He offered estimates of different options under several scenarios so you can make an educated decision based on the product that best fits your own situation. He guided me through every step of the process so there was never any guessing of what was needed or what to do next. As closing approached, there were no surprises, different closing amounts, or changes in closing dates that I had experienced in the past. I had heard all of the horror stories about getting a jumbo loan and I kind of expected some problems to occur during the process, but thanks to Mark and his team me and my family have the home of our dreams.

I had been in contact with two lenders before getting in touch with Mark. The first two promised the world and when they gave me there numbers, they were substancely higher then discussed. One even ran my credit 6 times in 3 months without my permission. Mark did everything he said he would and more. He met my target close of 4/30 which allowed me to Homestead my taxes and save an additional $900 this year. I have already referred to family members to Mark and Lake Michigan Credit Union and will continue to recommend him to anyone I know looking to purchase Home.
