When I was preparing to sell my house - I went to a bunch of open houses - and talked to the various agents - to see how they worked - kind of like an interview they didn't know they were doing. I wanted to see how I was treated as a possible buyer, or if I said I was just checking the area, would they still pay attention to me, would they follow up with me - would it be too much where I would get annoyed . . . . I met Dave at a house about a block from where I lived - the home I was planning to sell. I didn't actually list my house for almost a year - he kept in contact with me about once a month, answered questions I had even before I signed an agreement (knowing that I might sign with someone else). After I did finally list, he took really nice pictures, did a nice write up, got me 2 offers the 1st day I allowed showings, got me $1,000 over asking price, handled the inspections and made sure the closing went smoothly.
